1982 Suzuki GS1100E

I purchased this bike from someone who was getting a divorce, so I got a really good deal out of it. I was still in high school at the time living in Montana. So if you have ever been to Montana you know there are plenty of long straight aways with no one on them.

Needless to say this bike was pushed to the limit. However one night it all came to an end for this bike. I remember a smart ass gas station attendant telling me and a buddy that there are only two kind of motorcycle riders, "those who have been in wrecks and those who are going to get in one." Bad omen!

The following week I met a car at a very high rate of speed in the side (side of the car!). In which I went for a brief flight and met the pavement for a 150' (Ouch!). Needless to say the car was in worse shape than the bike, but they were both goners! So that was the end of this bike! Luckily I was wearing a helmet even though there wasn't a helmet law there. After that I sold it to a friend for parts as it still ran. Not sure what ever became of it!

Mine was red!
